Дипломная работа посвящена сравнению архитектурных терминов в английском и русском языках. Целью данной работы был анализ особенностей, общих черт и различий русской и английской архитектурной терминологии. В процессе работы использовались методы теоретического анализа полученных данных, анализ словарных дефиниций, переводческий и лингвокультурологический анализ. На основе проведенного сравнения нами были выявлены общие и различные черты в английской и русской архитектурной терминологии. Данный анализ позволяет более точно понять значение того или иного термина и выбрать наиболее эффективный приём перевода.

The paper is dedicated to comparison of the architectural terms in the English and Russian languages. The focus of this bachelor papers is the analysis of peculiarities, similarities and differences of English and Russian architectural terminology. Methods of theoretical analysis, analysis of dictionary definition, translation and linguoculturological analysis were used in this work. Based on the result of research we found out similarities and differences of Russian and English architectural terminology. The analysis gives an insight into the meaning of the term and the choice of the best translation method, which helps to save time while translating. Because a lot of time translator spends on searching the best equivalent.
