Today it has become possible to optimize those functions, the automation of which until recently seemed impossible - both in business and in IT. Most importantly, automation expands scalability and increases speed and efficiency without increasing staffing, regardless of the nature of business operations - whether it is lending, medical care, compliance monitoring, or customer service. This study focuses on the impact of digital transformation on company results and risks. To achieve this goal, the research question will be answered: how does digital transformation affect enterprise performance? Lenovo Group is a leading IT company in China. Since its acquisition by IBM in 2005, Lenovo is the 2nd PC supplier in the world. Founded in 1984 by eleven programmers in Beijing, China, as the company New Technology Developer Inc., it was soon renamed Legend and began a new era of consumer PCs in China. In 2004, seeking to expand its business globally with a seemingly global brand, the company changed the Legend brand to Lenovo, taking Le from Legend, and adding the novo Latin word for new to reflect the spirit of innovation as core company. The incumbent CEO, Young Yuking, joined Lenovo in 1989 as a salesperson and rose quickly through its ranks to general manager in 2005. In less than three decades, with his predecessor, Liu Chuanzhi, Yang Yuenkving headed Lenovo, rise to its current position. We are trying to answer this question as Lenovo has achieved such a prominent success in less than three decades. The results of the study, using the example of Lenovo, showed that digital information is positively related to the company's performance. In addition, the relationship between digital information and firm performance is positive.
