The analysis of scientific and technical literature on the research topic, on the basis of which the relevance of the work is justified and the method of obtaining and researching composite material is chosen. A series of samples of composite materials based on carbon fibers and thermoplastic polymers with different contents of fullerene soot was obtained. The physical-mechanical and tribological properties of the obtained samples were studied. The dependence of the tensile strength and modulus of elasticity in the 3-point bending test, friction coefficient and wear rate on the content of fullerene soot is shown. The mechanism of influence of fullerene soot on the properties of the obtained composite materials is proposed, which allows describing the observed trends in all the tests.
