The considered method is intended for monitoring and diagnostics of a wide class of systems, visualizing the behavior of the system vector in the spectral region and allowing the collection of qualitative statistics. It imposes easily satisfiable requirements on the system and allows obtaining estimates of spectral functions with sufficient accuracy in a mode close to real time. A number of well-known researches and developments are devoted to the problems, algorithms and perfect instruments of spectral analysis, including the classical works of K. Gauss, J. Fourier, E. Titchmarsh, A. Kolmogorov, K. Karunen, M. Loev, I. Gonorovsky, D. Tukey, D. Cooley, A. Karatsuba, N. Zheleznov, D. Wackman, A. Trakhtman, H. Harmut, F. Dedus, I. Ponomareva. Advanced ideas developed from the Fourier transform as an operation that compares one function of a real variable to another function of a real variable that describes the coefficients (“amplitudes”) when the original function is decomposed into elementary components, to fast recursive algorithms in various digital bases, to the importance and admissibility of nonstationarity as a factor in the inflow of new information to noise-like signals and, finally, to the eigenfunctions of the observed system and the definition of the concepts of amplitude, phase and frequency. The article discusses the non-correlation method of spectral analysis as a means of observing the behavior of the system in the spectral region, taking into account the definitions of the concepts of amplitude and frequency and the desire to see the features of the behavior of the system under changing conditions over time.
