Annotation
In this master's thesis the application of some modern engineering solutions for improvement of energy efficiency of heating and ventilation systems in public building will be studied. Some current methods for improvement of energy efficiency will be described and discussed. Moreover, the combination of solutions to increase energy efficiency of school building will be presented and described. Furthermore, thermotechnical calculation will be made to estimate the energy losses of building and the equipment to decrease energy consumption of heating and ventilation systems such as a heat pump and an air handling unit with thermal wheel will be selected. In addition to this, the estimated payback period of these solutions will be calculated.
