В рамках данной работы были изучены теоретические аспекты разработки внешнеэкономической стратегии региона, проанализирована внешнеэкономическая деятельность Ленинградской области, разработана модель развития внешнеэкономической деятельности региона с использованием институционально-функционального подхода. В работе показано, что в условиях современной экономики развитие международной торговли оказывает прямое влияние на отраслевой профиль и структуру экономики региона. С учетом тенденций в экономике Ленинградской области разработана «дорожная карта», выявлены пути развития внешнеэкономической деятельности региона.

In this work, was studied the theoretical aspects of the development of foreign trade strategy of the region, analyzed foreign economic activity of Leningrad region, developed model of improvement foreign economic activity of the region using institutional-functional approach. It is shown that in conditions of modern economy the development of international trade has a direct impact on the industry profile and economic structure of the region. Given the trends in the economy of the Rostov region it was developed a "road map" and identified ways of development of foreign economic activity of the region.
