In the work the electric power system of 330/110 kV was investigated. During the research the choice of the electrotechnical equipment of EPS, namely: transformers, generators, sections of power lines was made. A "manual" approximate calculation of the steady-state operation was performed. Using RastrWIN software, maximum and minimum load modes were calculated. Currents and voltages at single-phase short circuit are determined and vector diagrams of currents and voltages in the place of short circuit are constructed. Further, the calculation of the dynamic stability of the EPS using the software package Dymola was carried out, and the influence of the parameters of sequential electrical braking on the cut-off time limit of the three-phase short circuit was investigated.
