The given work is devoted to the study of changes in the properties of thin fullerite films formed by the deposition of fullerene molecules at room temperature under the action of bombardment with C60 ions with energy of 7 keV. It was found that the longitudinal and transverse sizes of the grains of the carbon coating increase with the film thickness. Irradiation with ions changes the structure of the film, increasing internal stresses. At insufficient energies of accelerated fullerene ions, there is no interaction of carbon and silicon at the fullerite–substrate interface, the adhesion of the coating turns out to be insufficient and the film peels off from the substrate surface. Under irradiation with a mixed beam with energies of 7 and 14 keV, a transition carbide layer is formed at the fullerene-substrate interface, which significantly increases the adhesion of the coating. The formation of diamond bonds in carbon films at low ion doses is not observed. At high doses, the graphitization of the coating occurred on the titanium substrate.
