The path for receiving and amplifying optical resonance absorption signals is one of the main units of optically pumped quantum magnetometers used in measuring the geomagnetic field and its anomalies in biomedical research. The work is aimed at developing the receiving path of the laboratory OPQM to expand its functionality. As a result of the work, the analysis of the element base of the receiving path was carried out, modeling and analysis of its characteristics, such as the transformation ratio, frequency band and current and voltage noise, were carried out. A laboratory model of this device was assembled and tested on the basis of a low-noise low-frequency operational amplifier AD820 (Analog Devices) with field-effect transistors at the input, operating in a unipolar power supply mode. It is shown that the use of a more low-noise operational amplifier can significantly improve the characteristics of the receiving path. The subject of research is a transimpedance photocurrent amplifier. The research method is modeling and experimental study of the characteristics of a transimpedance photocurrent amplifier.
