The subject of the graduate qualification work is: "Modeling of dynamic processes in lithium-ion batteries in emergency operation". In this work simulates the dynamic processes occurring in a lithium-ion battery during its operation in abnormal situations, in particular in the external short circuit mode, in order to identify the boundaries of operational stability and organize a reliable battery management system. The research set the following goals: 1. study of the device of lithium-ion storage batteries; 2. determination of current-forming processes in lithium-ion batteries; 3. analysis of the causes of emergency situations during the operation of lithium-ion batteries; 4. an overview of the previously developed mathematical models of a lithium-ion storage battery in a short circuit; 5. theoretical basis for building a mathematical model; 6. mathematical modeling of dynamic processes occurring in a lithium-ion battery with an external short circuit; 7. review of experimental data in order to compare with those that were obtained from the results of mathematical modeling; 8. application of the developed mathematical model to improve the efficiency of operation of lithium-ion batteries when operating in short circuit mode.
