Данная работа посвящена исследованию особенностей развития немецкой демократии на фоне развития демократии Соединенных Штатов Америки. Задачи, которые решались в ходе исследования: 1. Рассмотреть поэтапно историческое развитие немецкой демократии. 2. Рассмотреть поэтапно историческое развитие американской демократии. 3. Провести сравнительный анализ развития двух стран, выделяя особенности немецкого демократического развития. 4. Сделать вывод о применении теории о «Особенном немецком пути» по отношению к американскому. Что касается методов, которые были использованы в ходе проведения исследования, то можно выделить следующие: историко-сравнительный анализ и структурно-функциональный анализ. В результате исследования были выявлены следующие особенности развития немецкой демократии, которые не присущи развитию демократии в Соединенных Штатах Америки: прерывной характер развития, неодновременное начало развития демократии на территории страны, непринятие демократии населением и властями страны в самом начале ее развития, влияние на развитие демократии большей части населения за счет всеобщего избирательного права, развитие происходило при влиянии более разнообразных идеологических групп на демократию, равенство гражданских права и свобод распространялось сразу на всех граждан, отсутствовало влияние капитализма на развитие демократии.

The given work is devoted to study the features of the development of German democracy in relation to the development of democracy in the United States of America. The research set the following goals: 1. Consider the stepwise historical development of German democracy. 2. Consider the stepwise historical development of American democracy. 3. Conduct a comparative analysis of the development of the two countries, highlighting the features of German democratic development. 4. Make a conclusion about the application of the theory of the "Special path" in relation to the development of American democracy. As for the methods that were used in the course of the study, the following can be distinguished: historical-comparative analysis and structural-functional analysis. The study resulted in the following features of the development of German democracy, which are not inherent in the development of democracy in the United States of America: discontinuous development; non-simultaneous start of the development of democracy on the territory of the country; rejection of democracy by the population and authorities of the country at the very beginning of its development; influence on the development of democracy for the majority of the population through universal suffrage; development took place under the influence of more diverse ideological groups on democracy; equality of civil rights and freedoms extended immediately to all citizens; there was no influence of capitalism on the development of democracy.
