Данная работа посвящена проблеме использования лексических переводческих трансформаций в научно-фантастических произведениях на примере романов Фрэнка Герберта из цикла «Хроники Дюны». В ходе работы проанализированы такие ключевые понятия как «квазиреалии», «интертекстуальность» и «художественный мир». Рассмотрены переводы, выполненные разными авторами, с целью сравнительно-сопоставительного анализа приемов перевода. Выделены и проанализированы квазиреалии, которые занимают особое место при описании художественной вселенной «Дюны», созданной Фрэнком Гербертом. Проведенный анализ позволил выявить различные переводческие трудности, с которыми сталкивались переводчики при переводе романов на русский язык. Особое внимание было уделено интертекстуальности, используемой при описании художественного мира «Дюны».
The article focuses on transferring of lexical translation transformations in science fiction based on Frank Herbert's novels from the series “Chronicles of Dune”. The following key concepts such as “quasi-realities”, “intertextuality” and “fictional universe” have been considered. The well-known translations of the Frank Herbert's novels from the series “Chronicles of Dune” into the Russian language performed by various translators have been studied. The similarities and differences of the analyzed translations have been reviewed. The different authorial quasi-realities to describe the unique universe created by Frank Herbert have been distinguished and analyzed. The conducted analysis has allowed revealing some translation obstacles which translators faced while translating the series of “Chronicles of Dune” into the Russian language. A particular attention has been paid to intertextuality used by Frank Herbert when describing the unique universe of “Chronicles of Dune”.
