Данная работа посвящена изучению вопросов, связанных с осуществлением социальной защиты в Российской Федерации. Был проведен анализ системы социального обеспечения. Дана характеристика сущности социальной политики государства. Задачи, которые решались в ходе исследования: Изучить понятия социального обеспечения, социального страхования и социальной защиты населения; Провести анализ правовых основ социального обслуживания населения в Российской Федерации, Рассмотреть функции социальной защиты населения; Изучить государственные органы социальной защиты населения, Проанализировать организацию работы органов социального обеспечения и социальной защиты с обращениями граждан; Изучить судебную практику в сфере защиты прав граждан в области социального обеспечения. В результате были изучены особенности социального обеспечения прав и свобод человека и гражданина как одной из главной составляющей социальной политики государства. В процессе работы был раскрыт статус граждан Российской Федерации на социальное обеспечение, рассмотрена система социальных гарантий, предусмотренная законодательством Российской Федерации, а также были выявлены проблемы реализации данных социальных гарантий и предложены пути решения данных проблем.

This work is devoted to the study of issues related to implementation of social protection in the Russian Federation. An analysis of the social security system was carried out. The characteristic of the essence of the social policy of the state is given. Tasks that were solved in the course of the study: To study the concepts of social security, social insurance and social protection of the population; Conduct an analysis of the legal framework for social services for the population in the Russian Federation, Consider the functions of social protection of the population; To study the state bodies of social protection of the population, to analyze the organization of the work of the bodies of social security and social protection with citizens appeals; To study judicial practice in the field of protecting the rights of citizens in the field of social security. As a result, the features of social security of the rights and freedoms of man and citizen were studied as one of the main components of the social policy of the state. In the process of work, the status of citizens of the Russian Federation for social security was disclosed, the system of social guarantees provided for by the legislation of the Russian Federation was considered, and problems with the implementation of these social guarantees were identified and ways to solve these problems were proposed.
