This study presents the numerical analysis of a 14th story reinforced concrete hybrid residential building located in Buterere (Bujumbura in Burundi) an area ex-posed to floods, earthquakes and winds the objective is to evaluate the structural behavior under static and dynamic loads by integrating the hydro-static pressure related to floods in accordance with ASCE 7-16/22 and ACI 318-14 standards to achieve this task that the methodology used is based on 3D modeling under ETABS and SAFE with activation of cracked properties P Delta effects and rigid diaphragms, the earth-quake, wind and hydro-static loads are defined according to ASCE 7-16 the latter being applied manually as non-uniform pressure on the walls ( water height of 4m a safety margin), the types of materials ( concrete 40MPa, Steel 300 MPa, Tendons 1860 MPa) meet Australian and New Zealand standards with a coating of 60 mm to resist corrosion. Results show that the shear forces, overturning moments, inter-stage displacements and maximum drifts remain well below the regulatory limits (maxi-mum drift of 0.0013 rad well below 0.02 rad), the dynamic mass participation exceeds 90% in both directions UX and UY validating the spectra model, the soil-structure interaction analyzed in SAFE indicates land rates below 45% with a safety factor of 6.3 remove it and mitigation strategies include a raised riffle ( thickness 400 mm) 800 mm deep piles anchored in the granitic gneiss 250 mm reinforced concrete cladding and watertight coverings in concludes the study show that the structure is compliant, recommends peripheral drainage and suggests adding an automatic calculation of hydro-static loads in ETABS for future applications.
