Relevance of the course it consists in the following: currently, there are a huge number of digital resources concentrated on the Internet. It can be difficult to assess their plausibility, even for an experienced teacher. Therefore, it is important to teach students to use the official sources that the university library offers and in large numbers. It is also important to learn how to navigate them and show the basic techniques of searching for information in these databases. The manual includes a brief overview of existing digital resources, including those posted on the university library portal. The textbook is intended for international students of the direction 20.04.01 Technosphere safety 20.04.01_12 Emergency Preparedness and Response (International Educational Program).
