В данной работе проведён расчет трансформатора ТМН мощностью 8 МВА с различными вариантами исполнения: материал обмоток медь и алюминий, диаметр стержня магнитопровода 36 мм. Определены основные электромагнитные и тепловые характеристики машины. В заключении сделано сравнение результатов и выбран наилучший вариант исполнения трансформатора.
