В данной работе рассмотрены различные проблемы, связанные с конструкцией крещатого свода. Приведен анализ взглядов исследователей на датировки и генезис храмов с крещатыми сводами, а также на их конструктивную работу. Проанализированы характерные особенности конструкций трех конкретных храмов и сделаны выводы о невозможности генезиса этого типа свода из конструкций типа "две пары перекрещивающихся арок". Значительное внимание уделяется проблеме определения прочности материалов кирпичной кладки различными методами. На основе проведенного исследования автором получено и проанализировано напряженно-деформированное состояние конструкции крещатого свода в программном комплексе SOFiSTiK.

This paper discusses various problems associated with the design of a "kreschaty" vault. The analysis of the researchers' views on the dating and origin of the temples with "kreschaty" vault were shown, as well as their constructive work. We have analyzed the characteristics of the specific structures of three temples and have made conclusions about the impossibility of the genesis of this type of arch structures like "two pairs of intersecting arches." Considerable attention is paid to the problem of determining the strength of masonry materials by various methods. Based on the research the author has received and analyzed the stress-strain state of the structure of "kreschaty" vault in software complex SOFiSTiK.
