Данная работа посвящена анализу развития и функционирования Аландской автономии. В работе исследованы факторы и предпосылки к формированию автономного управления на Аландах, а также современное состояние и особенности устройства самоуправления на островах. Определены перспективы дальнейшего развития и рассмотрена возможность применения «Аландской модели» в международной практике урегулирования национальных конфликтов.

The thesis work investigates development and functioning of the Aland Islands. In the paper the factors and the prerequisites for the formation of autonomous control in Aland are being examined, as well as the current status and features of self-government structure in the islands. The research determines prospects of further development and considers the possibility of application of the «Aland model» in the international practice of settlement of ethnic conflicts.
