Данная работа посвящена советской оценке японской интервенции в Маньчжурию в 1930-х гг. В работе затронуты вопросы, касающиеся отношений Китая и Японии: процесс их установления, формирование стереотипов восприятия стран друг другом, причины ухудшения отношений. Рассмотрены поводы японской интервенции на северо-восток Китая, процесс развертывания оккупации, установления японского контроля на маньчжурской территории и их последствия для развития Китая. Проанализировано отношение советской прессы к маньчжурским событиям на примере Мукденского инцидента и провозглашения Маньчжоу-го, а также дана оценка советской прессе как историческому источнику по китайско-японским отношениям. Сделан вывод, что хотя идеологическая специфика накладывалась на публикуемую информацию, советские печатные издания были объективны.

The present study is dedicated to the Soviet evaluation of Japanese invasion of Manchuria in 1930s. In the paper were raised issues concerning relations of China and Japan such as the process of their establishment, the evolution of their mutual perception, reasons for the deterioration in their relations. Also were examined questions of Japanese intervention in the north-east of China, the process of the occupation, the establishment of the Japanese control on the Manchurian territory and its implications for the Chinese development. The project analyzes the Soviet press attitude toward the Manchurian events using the example of Mukden incident and the declare independence of Manchukuo. Also the Soviet press was evaluated as a historical source for Sino-Japanese relations. It was concluded that despite the ideological specificity, Soviet press publications were objective (unbiased).
