В работе рассмотрены основные виды энергетических ресурсов и их особенности в добыче, транспортировке и переработке. Изучены основные энергетические кризисы, их причины и последствия и выявлены ключевые особенности и отличия от других типов кризисов. Проанализирована деятельность компании Maersk Oil в докризисный и кризисный период и составлен вывод об эффективности деятельности. Сформулирован вывод о наиболее рациональном поведении фирмы в период нестабильной экономической ситуации.

The paper describes the main types of energy resources and their characteristics in the production, transportation and processing. Investigated the major energy crises, their causes and consequences and identified key features and differences from other types of crises. Maersk Oil's activities were analysed in the pre-crisis and crisis periods and a conclusion was made regarding the effectiveness of activities. Drew conclusions on the most rational company's behaviour in the unstable period of the economic situation.
