Due to the deteriorating environmental conditions and the problem of depletion natural resources to the fore come now emerging technologies to design and build energy-efficient buildings. The principles of sustainable design are realized by using Building Information Modeling (BIM) that allows carrying out the projects with minimal impact on the environment. This work focuses on the software products that allow calculating the energy efficiency as well as the environmental sustainability of buildings. The article shows the insulation and thermal analysis, the optimum building orientation for the building model. These features of software products allowed us to determine the impact of environmental factors on a building's performance.
