Данная дипломная работа посвящена исследованию речевого портрета главных героев романов и рассказов П.Г. Вудхауза о Дживсе и Вустере. Целью работы является изучение и анализ средств создания речевого портрета Дживса и Вустера. В работе применялись следующие методы: теоретический анализ и обобщение научных работ и лингвостилистический анализ произведений П.Г. Вудхауза. Материалом работы послужили три произведения: сборник рассказов “Carry On, Jeeves”, романы “Right Ho, Jeeves” и “The Code of the Woosters”. Были рассмотрены уровни анализа и способы создания речевого портрета, предложена схема анализа речи героев и исследована речь данных персонажей по предложенной схеме. Полученные результаты могут быть использованы при исследовании творчества П.Г. Вудхауза, стилистическом анализе его произведений и составлении речевых портретов других литературных персонажей.

This graduation work is devoted to studying the speech portraits of the main characters of the novels and stories about Jeeves and Woosterby P.G. Wodehouse. The purpose of this work is to study and analyze the methods of creating the speech portraits of Jeeves and Wooster. Methods of study include the theoretical analysis and compilation of the scientific works and the linguostylistic analysis of the novels by P.G. Wodehouse. The material of the diploma paper is three works: the collection of stories “Carry On, Jeeves”, the novels “Right Ho, Jeeves” and “The Code of the Woosters”. This graduation work studies the levels of analysis and methods of creating a speech portrait, offers the plan for the analysis of character's speech and studies the speech in accordance with this plan. The results of the work can be used for studying the works of P.G. Wodehouse, stylistic analysis of his works and creating speech portraits of different literary characters.
