В работе исследованы причины страха публичных выступлений, изучен процесс преодоления боязни выступлений перед аудиторией. С целью более глубокого анализа предмета исследования дана сравнительная характеристика студентов языковых и неязыковых специальностей. В результате исследования были выявлены виды фобий и их влияние на публичные выступления студентов языковых специальностей, определен общий уровень тревожности. Кроме того, исследованы факторы, влияющие на успех публичных выступлений и указаны способы решения проблем при публичном выступлении студентов языковых специальностей.

The graduation work is dedicated to the study of psychological aspects of linguistics student's anxiety of public speaking. There is a study of causes of public speaking anxiety and of the process of overcoming this kind of fear. Besides that, there is a comparative analysis of linguistics students and economics students in order to take a closer look at this theme. For the purpose of problem analysis such methods were used in our work: questionnaire, testing and method of qualitative/quantitative analysis. As a result of this study, different kinds of phobias were elicited and their impact on public speaking of linguistics students. Also, general anxiety level was defined. Beyond that, factors relevant to success of public speaking were analyzed and methods of solving public speaking problems were stated.
