Данный дипломный проект посвящен использованию информационно-коммуникационных технологий при обучении аудированию студентов технических вузов (на примере английского языка). Исследование проводилось на примере открытых интернет - ресурсов как дополнение к базовому учебно - методическому комплексу Language Leader уровней Intermediate/Upper Intermediate. Первая глава работы раскрывает такие понятия как информационно - коммуникационные технологии (ИКТ), аудирование; также в первой главе описаны особенности преподавания иностранного языка в технических вузах. Вторая глава посвящена созданию авторского комплекса упражнений по обучению аудированию, в ней также рассматриваются принципы и критерии отбора содержания обучения иностранному языку, в частности аудированию с использованием ИКТ.

This graduation project deals with using information and communication technology (ICT) in teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL) listening comprehension to students of technical universities. The research has been conductedusing various open Internet-resources as a supplement to the basic course «Language Leader», Intermediate/Upper Intermediate levels. The work consists of an introduction, two chapters, a conclusion, a reference list and an appendix. The introduction describes the relevance of the chosen theme, indicates the object and the subject of the research and defines its aims and objectives. The first chapter of the work reveals such concepts as information and communications technology (ICT) and listening comprehension, tells about peculiarities of teaching EFL in technical universities. The second chapter is devoted to the design of the set of listening exercises: it also reviews the principles and criteria of selecting the content of foreign language teaching, in particular, listening comprehension with the use of ICT. The examples of responses and the results of the universitystudents'work are given.
