The methods of calculation and research of rubber seals for the emergency valve knives of oil-producing equipment have been studied. The nature of the work is 3D modeling and stress calculation using the finite element method in combination with the formulas of the nonlinear theory of elasticity. The first chapter outlines the well-known theoretical foundations, general characteristics of rubber, also provides information and formulas for hyperelastic bodies. The issues of choosing the optimal shape and size of the knife with a rubber seal for oil wells, intended for emergency shutter and creating a proper sealing. To optimize the size and shape of the knife and seals using the finite element method. The results of experiments on the results of calculations using SolidWorks.
