Данная работа посвящена изучению публикаций, характеризующие быт, религии, народные традиции народов Средней Азии в издании «Живописная Россия». Задачи, которые решались в ходе исследования: выявить основные характеристики издания «Живописная Россия»; оценить психологические особенности восприятия Средней Азии в России в XIX веке; рассмотреть реализацию стереотипов «о дикости народов»; проанализировать представление об Азии и «азиатскости» в восприятии европейских путешественников; оценить реализацию образа Средней Азии в издании «Живописная Россия» (том 10). Методы и подходы. Среди общенаучных методов в работе применяется анализ и синтез, которые были использованы нами при исследовании публикаций издания в целом. Основными методами исследования определены методы текстологического анализа: интерпретации и сравнительный анализ языкового материала-статей из издания «Живописная Россия»; дискурсивный анализ – анализ политического дискурса и конкретной информации, представленной в материалах путешественников; контент-анализ содержимого статей издания «Живописная Россия»»; контекстуальный анализ статей. При проведении исследования работе автор опирался на источники и методические разработки, посвященные восприятию Средней Азии русскими и европейскими путешественниками. Вывод по ВКР – подведены основные итоги исследования, сформулированы общие выводы, перспективы дальнейшего исследования в этой области.

This work is devoted to the study of the publications characterizing the life, religion, folk traditions of the peoples of Central Asia in the publication "Picturesque Russia". The tasks that were solved in the course of the study: to identify the main characteristics of the publication "Picturesque Russia"; to assess the psychological characteristics of the perception of Central Asia in Russia in the 19th century; to consider the implementation of stereotypes "about the savagery of peoples"; to analyze the perception of Asia and "Asianness" in the perception of European travelers; to assess the implementation of the image of Central Asia in the "Picturesque Russia" (volume10) publication. Methods and approaches. Among the general scientific methods, analysis and synthesis are used in the work, which were used by us in the study of the publications of the publication as a whole. The main research methods are the methods of textual analysis: interpretation and comparative analysis of linguistic material-articles from the "Picturesque Russia" publication; discourse analysis – analysis of political discourse and specific information presented in the materials of travelers; content analysis of the content of articles of the "Picturesque Russia" publication; contextual analysis of articles. When conducting the research, the author relied on sources and methodological developments devoted to the perception of Central Asia by Russian and European travelers. The research conclusion is to summarize the main results of the study, formulate general conclusions, prospects for further research in this area.
