В ходе работы рассмотрена история становления и развития службы судебных приставов, которая начинается с Киевской Руси и продолжается до сих пор. Проанализированы нормативные документы, регулирующие порядок исполнения судебных решений в различные периоды. В рамках проведенного исследования был рассмотрен организационно-правовой статус судебного пристава на разных этапах развития. На основе изученных материалов были выявлены проблемы, связанные с деятельностью ФССП и внесены предложения по её совершенствованию. Сделан вывод о том, что с течением времени роль судебных приставов возросла, и на данный момент они являются центральным звеном всей судебной системы.

In the course of the work, the history of the formation and development of the bailiff service, which begins with Kievan Rus and continues to this day, is considered. The normative documents regulating the order of execution of court decisions in different periods are analyzed. Within the framework of the study, the organizational and legal status of the bailiff at different stages of development was considered. Based on the materials studied, problems related to the activities of the FSSP were identified and suggestions were made for its improvement. It is concluded that over time the role of bailiffs has increased, and at the moment they are the central link of the entire judicial system.
