The topic of the final qualifying work: "Development of the control valve DN100 for the system of recharge and boron regulation of the Tianwan NPP, power units 7 and 8". This work is devoted to the development of a control valve. Tasks that were solved during the study: 1. Study of the recharge system and boron regulation; 2. Identification of requirements for the reliability of the valve; 3. Carrying out strength calculation; 4. Construction of the plunger profile; 5. Cavitation check. The valve development took place in several stages. Initially, the valve body was designed, after which a strength calculation was made. The plunger profile was constructed separately by the method of curves of equal areas. The valve was tested for resistance to cavitation by considering several cases of lifting the plunger. In the ANSYS program, pressure and velocity distribution fields were obtained in the flow part of the valve. As a result, a valve was developed that can be used for execution at the Tianwan NPP.
