Theme of the final qualification work: “Software package for optimizing the parameters of the turbogenerator stator insulation system”. This work is devoted to the numerical simulation of corona protection systems for the stator windings of a turbogenerator. The tasks that were solved in the framework of this study: 1. Development of a numerical model in the CAE COMSOL Multiphysics software package based on the imported, parametrically defined CAD geometry of the computational domain. 2. Experimental study of the electrical characteristics of nonlinear corona protective coatings. 3. Modeling of used corona protection systems. A finite-element parametric numerical model of a system of corona-protective coatings for the frontal part of the stator windings of a turbogenerator with a combined solution of electrical and thermal problems has been developed. It has been optimized, the required computational resources have been reduced, the simulation stability has been increased, the allowable ranges of model settings have been expanded. Based on the simulation results, an assessment was made of the use of existing materials in a single-stage, combined frontal corona protection systems. The requirements for the parameters of promising nonlinear corona-protective coatings have been formulated.
