This study is dedicated to examining the impact of the combined operation of a hydrogen complex and a nuclear power plant on the performance of the power unit, specifically focusing on the utilization of low-grade heat generated during hydrogen production at the nuclear power plant. The research set the following aims: 1. Study of existing methods for producing hydrogen and the possibility of their application at nuclear power plants. 2. Modeling of a hydrogen complex based on electrolysis in the Aspen Plus software package. 3. Modeling of the NPP secondary circuit in the United Cycle software package. 4. Analysis of the calculated values obtained in model of the combination of the hydrogen complex and the NPP steam turbine cycle. 5. Evaluation of the economic efficiency of using a utilization heat unit in the NPP secondary circuit. Calculations conducted during the research demonstrate the efficiency of utilizing the hydrogen complex for generating low-grade heat. The analysis was performed through mathematical modeling using Aspen Plus and United Cycle software. As a result, the possibility of including the hydrogen complex in the secondary circuit of a nuclear power plant with a K-1200 turbine was analyzed and the economic component of this design solution was evaluated.
