This work is devoted to the numerical study of a popliteal venous valve flow under the action of a reverse pressure drop (during the Valsalva maneuver) at different leaflet elasticity. Based on the clinical data (ultrasound images of the valve in the B-mode of the scanner), a geometric parametric model of the popliteal venous valve is constructed. Based on the clinical data of a healthy venous valve in a standing position (change of the bulk velocity during the cycle in the Doppler mode of the scanner), a constructed model of a venous valve was tested during the closing phase of the valves. According to the clinical data for a healthy venous valve, namely, by the bulk velocity of the forward flow and by the duration of the reverse flow, the parameters of a single impulse for the Valsalva maneuver – an inlet boundary condition with a reverse pressure drop – are configured. The study of the flow during the Valsalva maneuver through the incompetent valve in calculations with other elastic modules was carried out and two qualitatively different flow regimes were revealed – a constantly open state and oscillations with periodic closing-opening.
