The manual corresponds to the content of the federal discipline of the state educational standard coded 01.03.03 "Mechanics and mathematical modeling", 03.03.01 "Applied mathematics", and 03.04.01 "Applied physics". It represents the second part of the lecture course on mathematical physics. It is devoted to the theory of generalized functions and generalized solutions, integral Fourier, Hankel, Laplace transformations and their application in problems of mathematical physics. The manual considers methods for solving Volterra and Fredholm integral equations, construction of Green's function and its use for solving heterogeneous problems. The authors describe the fundamentals of variation calculus: concepts and definitions, types of variation problems. Variation statements for mechanics problems and methods for their approximate solution are given. The manual is intended for students studying in the majors "Applied mathematics and physics", as well as for those who need to solve engineering problems using the apparatus of mathematical physics.
