Диссертация состоит из 4 разделов и посвящена модернизации геоинформационной системы WebGIS. В работе дано общее описание концепции разработки веб-приложений и геоинформационных систем. Дан обзор наиболее популярных ГИС, рассмотрены их недостатки. Дано описание приложения WebGIS и его внутренней архитектуры. Поставлена проблема получения и отображения больших объёмов геопространственных данных, а также описаны способы её решения и их реализация. Приведены результаты работы и оценки эффективности модернизированного приложения на основе используемых в приложении геоинформационных слоёв.

The dissertation consists of four sections and is dedicated to the development of geographical information system WebGIS. A review of the most popular GIS, discussed their shortcomings. The description of the WebGIS application and its internal architecture.Posed the problem of obtaining and displaying large volumes of geospatial data, and describes how its solutions and their implementation. The results of the work and evaluate the effectiveness of the modernized applications based on geographic information used in the application layer.
