Данная работа посвящена исследованию происхождения и эволюции китайских религий - даосизма и китайского буддизма - в контексте исторического развития Китая вплоть до падения последней императорской династии. В работе рассмотрены основные этапы в истории вышеупомянутых религий, исследованы ключевые их концепции и установки, а также школы и направления. В работе также осуществляется анализ взаимодействия и взаимовлияния даосизма и буддизма, рассматривается роль учений в политической и общественной жизни китайского государства.

The work is dedicated to the study of an origin and evolution of religions in China (Daoism and Chinese Buddhism) in the context of China's historical development (historical process) up to the last imperial dynasty's dethronement. The main stages of the abovementioned religions' history are considered in this work, as well as fundamental concepts, features and schools, sects and movements of theirs. The work also deals with the analyses of interactions of the religions, and their place in political and social spheres of China.
