В работе рассмотрены особенности иностранных инвестиций в современной экономике России. Обоснована необходимость привлечения иностранного инвестирования в национальную экономику. Выявлены особенности структуры иностранных инвестиций, а так же их региональное размещение в России. Предложен метод выбора отраслей реципиентов прямых иностранных инвестиций, а также методы совершенствования механизмов привлечения иностранных инвестиций.

The paper discusses the features of foreign investment in the modern economy of the Russian Federation. It provides rationalization for necessity of attracting foreign investments into national economy, and reviews particular qualities of investment structure as well as their regional location in Russia. This paper also suggests the method of selecting industries-recipients of foreign direct investment along with methods to improve the mechanisms of attracting foreign investment into national economy.
