Annotation

Thermometer-to-binary encoder is an important component of a Flash Analog-to-Digital Converter (FADC). Because flash ADC operates at very high speed, bubble error will happen. In this work, a ROM-based encoders and modification of this scheme with bubble error correction circuit are described. The simulation results show that the proposed circuits correct converts the first and the second bubble errors and consumes low power.
