Master's thesis consists of an introduction, four chapters, conclusion, a list of used literature and two appendixes. The possibility of using air cooling systems entering in GTE-160 during the summertimewas investigatedin the case of CHP-22 "Yuzhnaya" of PAO(a publicly held company under the laws of the Russian Federation) "TGC-1". A short description of thecombined-cycle power plant unit-450equipment was given, the external air temperature for the last three years was analyzed, the amount of generated electric energy was calculated with introduced air cooling system and various ways of cooling the air entering the GTU were considered for this purpose.The complex based on absorption refrigeration machine was chosen for air cooling.The calculation of the economic effect from theabsorption refrigeration machine introduction was made.
