Annotation
The work shows the progress of the design of the electrical part of the power plant. It describes the organization of the optimal structural scheme, the criteria for constructing the main circuit of an electrical station, the choice of power lines, the principles for choosing the main electrical equipment. The structure is developed, and parameters of system of self-feed needs are calculated. The calculation of short-circuit currents is made, and on the basis of the obtained data, protective switching devices and cable sections are selected. In conclusion, the stability of the power units is tested under the terms of self-starting of the engines of their self-feed needs with a short-term power loss, and the time to reach the mode of the most energy-intensive unit when connected to the most loaded source.
