In this work we studied the power supply system 330/220 kV and analyzed the steady-state and transient conditions. The process of choosing the main electrical equipment in the power supply system is presented. The steady-state mode of a three-machine electric power system was calculated using an iterative and software methods. The unbalanced short-circuit current on the buses of one of the substations is determined using the symmetric leaving method and vector diagrams of phase quantities are constructed. The limit of the dynamic stability of the presented system is determined. Using longitudinal electric braking, the dynamic stability limit has also been successfully increased, which can be noted by paying attention to the corresponding graph of mutual acceleration from the mutual angle of the generators. In addition, the dynamic stability of the system was confirmed when a single-phase short circuit occurred on the buses of the second substation when using the SPAR of overhead transmission lines. The limit time of the TPAR with a three-phase short circuit was also determined.
