The subject of the graduate qualification work is «Designing a waveguide phase shifter with diaphragms» This work is devoted to research of possibility of creating waveguide phaseshifter based on diaphragms without losses. Phaseshift is controlled by varicap. Theoretical analysis was made which showed us dependence of different parameters between each other and helped us get desired results. Following 3D-models were built using Ansys HFSS: waveguide with single diaphragm, waveguide with 3 dipaphragms, waveguide with a single diaphragms with controlling capacitance, waveguide with 3 diaphragms with controlling capacitance. As a result of modeling possibility of controlled phaseshift was shown in dependence of controlling capacitance included connected to the diaphragm inside a waveguide in dependence of frequency band and level of device matching.
