One of the goals of this work is to study the steady-state and transient modes in the 330/110 kV electric power system. This task is relevant at the present time in the design of industrial facilities in the electric power industry. In the course of the work, the necessary equipment for the system was selected and checked, as well as the conductors for the given power system, in accordance with the initial data, capable of withstanding the loads under normal and emergency conditions. Calculations of the steady-state mode were carried out "manually", and compensating devices were used to reduce the effect of excess reactive power. The steady-state mode was simulated in the modes of minimum and maximum loads in the RastrWin3 software package. We also calculated the currents and voltages of a single-phase short circuit located at the junction of the autotransformer and the overhead line. After that, vector diagrams of these currents and voltages were constructed. Then the calculation of the single-phase short-circuit current was made in the EMTP software package. To study the dynamic stability of the resulting system, the Dymola software package was used. Pulse unloading of the turbine was chosen as a measure to increase the dynamic stability and the cut-off time limit. As a result, it can be concluded that the use of software packages allows you to facilitate the calculation and make sure that it is correct, as well as to increase the accuracy of the calculation and consider additional parameters and conditions.
