The present work is devoted to the study of the isotopic effect in the plasma of the FT-2 tokamak using ASTRA transport code. The research set the following goals: 1. Numerical simulation of a sample of discharges from the experimental base of the FT-2 tokamak 2. Obtaining the dependence of the confinement time on the electron density 3. Analysis of the influence of the isotopic composition of plasma on the parameters of energy confinement The work was fulfilled on the premises of FTI A.F. Ioffe RAS, which included collection of factual materials, i.e. results of electromagnetic and other diagnostics of plasma discharges in the FT-2 tokamak. The effect of the isotopic composition of the plasma on the parameters of energy retention is analyzed. Numerical simulation for a wide experimental base of FT-2 tokamak is carried out. The software and algorithms of its operation are described. The course of the study is described, verification and analysis of the results are carried out. As a result of the work, the time dependence of the energy retention on the electron density is obtained. On the basis of the studies carried out, it was found that in regimes with high current and at high plasma densities, a noticeable isotope effect manifests itself in energy confinement.
