Данная работа посвящена выявлению путей сохранения памяти об испанских «детях войны» в Санкт-Петербурге и Республике Карелия и описанию мест памяти об их жизни в СССР в 1937–1945 гг. В ходе исследования было осуществлено: • рассмотрение предпосылок формирования конфликта в Испании и особенностей советской гуманитарной помощи Республиканскому правительству; • изучение организации быта и обучения «детей войны» в СССР в довоенные годы и подробностей их участия в Великой Отечественной войне; • ознакомление с теорией исторической памяти и описание имеющихся в Санкт-Петербурге и Республике Карелия мест памяти об испанских «детях войны». В процессе работы были использованы такие методы исследования, как анализ архивных документов и литературы по выбранной теме на русском, английском и испанском языках, а также обобщение и классификация. Научная новизна работы состоит в использовании в ходе её написания региональных архивных документов, к которым редко обращаются крупные исследователи. Практическая значимость заключается в составлении актуального списка мест памяти об испанских «детях войны» в Санкт-Петербурге и Карелии, которым в дальнейшем смогут воспользоваться исследователи данной темы.
The given work is devoted to studying the ways of preserving memory about Spanish "children of war" (Niños de Rusia/Children of Russia) in Saint Petersburg and in the Republic of Karelia and describing memory spaces about their lives in the USSR in 1937–1945. The research set the following goals: • examination of the prerequisites for the formation of the conflict in Spain and the peculiarities of Soviet humanitarian aid to the Republican government; • studying the organization of life and education of "children of war" in the USSR in the pre-war years and the details of their participation in the Great Patriotic War; • familiarization with the theory of historical memory and making description of the sites of memory of the Spanish "children of war" in St. Petersburg and the Republic of Karelia. In the course of the work, the comparative-historical method was used, as well as the analysis of archival documents and literature on the selected topic in Russian, English and Spanish languages, generalization and classification. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the use in the course of its writing of regional archival documents, which are rarely referred to by major researchers. The practical significance lies in the compilation of an up-to-date list of places of memory about the Spanish "children of war" in St. Petersburg and the Republic of Karelia, which researchers of this topic can use in the future.
