The subject of the graduate qualification work is «Mathematical modeling of sample injection into the mass spectrometer interface». This work is devoted to modeling the introduction of a sample into the first chamber of a mass spectrometer when describing a multiphase medium by the Lagrange method. The following tasks were set in the study:- simulation of gas flow through the hole;- simulation of the flow of a mixture of gases through the hole in the presence of drops in the flow;- consideration of the influence of the flow rate of the liquid fraction on the flow pattern. The simulation was carried out using the Ansys Fluent 2021 R2 software package using the Discrete Phase Model capabilities. As a result of the calculations, flow patterns were obtained for the problems under consideration, profiles of gas-dynamic functions were constructed, droplet trajectories and fields of alcohol concentration were considered. On the basis of the data obtained, a conclusion was made about the significant effect of the droplet flow rate on the flow.
