The topic of the qualification work is: « Research of the process of friction stir spot welding with the change of aluminum alloys». This work is devoted to the study of mechanical properties and temperature field in the process of friction stir spot welding of aluminum alloys. Task that were solved in the course of the study:Selection of welding modes, selected aluminum alloys. Registration of thermal cucles using using thermocouples. Tensile testing.Metallographic studies. The work was carried out at the Laboratory of Light Materials and Structures. To determine the temperature field of aluminum were made, which recorded the temperature reading during welding. And to determine the strength properties, welded joints were produced, which were subjected to a tensile test. As a result of the work, the best temperature indicators in the FSSW process for each aluminum alloy were identified and the best welding modes for breaking aluminum of each series were determined.
