The subject of the graduate qualification work is «Algorithms for automatic transcription of percussion instruments». The given work is devoted to building a system for automatic transcription of percussion instruments in an audio signal. The research set the following goals: 1. Overview of techniques for automatic separation of percussion instruments in an audio signal. 2. Comparison of non-negative matrix factorization methods. 3. Construction of an algorithm for automatic transcription of percussion instruments. 4. Consideration of post-processing methods to improve the decomposition of the original signal. 5. Building an automatic drum transcription system. The study resulted into a system for automatic transcription of percussion instruments in an audio signal. Various techniques for detecting impact sounds and improving the initial decomposition of non-negative matrix factorization methods were considered. The annotation and restored instrument tracks obtained as a result of applying the system to a real segment of breakbeats in a polyphonic audio recording proved the correctness of the system.
