The given work is devoted to the study of the properties of biocompatible gels based on silk fibroin and the possibility of cell cultivation in them. The improvement of the mechanical qualities of the gels was achieved by adding carboxymethylcellulose and sodium alginate. The resulting gels meet the requirements for bioinks used in 3D printing. The influence of alcohol selection on the properties of matrices is investigated. Products treated with ethanol showed a tendency to a higher degree of swelling and less cytotoxicity. The conformational transition of silk fibroin was confirmed by IR spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy. It has been shown that an increase in the percentage of silk fibroin has a positive effect on both print quality and biocompatibility of designs. The above indicates the suitability of the developed silk fibroin-based gels for use as a material for tissue engineering for tissue regeneration.
