Master's final qualification paper is devoted to a study of approaches and processes in the development of the server part of an application designed to organize, conduct and collect information about multiplayer tournaments in collectible card games. In the course of the work, the existing services for such purposes were analyzed. After thorough examination, an alternative implementation of the functionality with better capabilities for analyzing the collected data is proposed. The presented approach uses a system of "hidden points" to aggregate information about tournaments. During the research, the server part of the application for managing multiplayer tournaments was implemented. It provides not only the functionality for holding events and storing data about them, but also a prototype of the analytics module. As a result of the research, the developed service was put into operation. Some further development opportunities were studied and presented as well, being based on both the ideas of developers to improve the program code and on feedback from users.
