Основная цель работы – исследование культуры и искусства народов Средней Азии в музейной культуре России. Задачи ВКР: проанализировать историю вопроса: становление музеефикации культуры и искусства Средней Азии в Российской империи и СССР; разработать методику проведения практической части исследования; исследовать представленность среднеазиатской культуры и искусства в музеях России; изучить особенности среднеазиатской культуры и искусства; провести анализ конкретного комплекса музейных предметов одного из выбранных музеев России. Культура и искусство среднеазиатского региона – одна из важнейших тем научных исследований специалистов периода СССР и России. Становление музеефикации культуры и искусства Средней Азии началось в Российской империи и продолжилось в период СССР. Однако, после революции 1917 г. на период 1920-1930-х. гг. музейная деятельность определялась новой советской идеологией, что определяло тематику и характер проводившихся выставок, что было доказано на примере анализа путеводителя 1934 г. по выставке Средней Азии Этнографического отдела Русского музея. Культура среднеазитского региона широко представлена в музеях России, прежде всего, в таких крупнейших музеях, как Государственный Эрмитаж, Российский этнографический музей, музей антропологии и этнографии РАН(Кунсткамера), Музей культуры и искусства народов Востока (Москва).

The main purpose of the work is to study the culture and art of the peoples of Central Asia in the museum culture of Russia. Tasks of the WRC: to analyze the history of the issue: the formation of the mystification of culture and art of the Middle Asia in the Russian Empire and the USSR; to develop a methodology for conducting the practical part of the study; to investigate the representation of Central Asian culture and art in Russian museums; to study the features of Central Asian culture and art; to analyze a specific complex of museum objects of one of the selected museums in Russia. The culture and art of the Central Asian region is one of the most important topics of scientific research by specialists of the USSR and Russia period. The formation of the museumification of culture and art of Central Asia began in The Russian Empire and continued during the USSR period. However, after the revolution of 1917, for the period of the 1920s-1930s, museum activity was determined by the new Soviet ideology, which determined the subject and nature of the exhibitions held, which was proved by the analysis of the 1934 guide to the exhibition of Central Asia of the Ethnographic Department The Russian Museum. The culture of the Central Asian region is widely represented in Russian museums, primarily in such major museums as The State Hermitage Museum, the Russian Ethnographic Museum, the Museum of Anthropology and Ethnography of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Kunstkamera), the Museum of Culture and Art of the Peoples of the East (Moscow).
