The research presents a study of the antimycoplasmal properties of rosin deriva tives for Acholeplasma laidlawii PG8a: the minimum inhibitory concentrations of the considered substances are determined, the analysis of mycoplasma morphology using transmission electron microscopy is carried out, and potential activities for these rosin derivatives are calculated. As a result, the nature of the antimycoplasmal activity of all the studied substances was determined and mycoplasma cells were studied using transmission electron microscopy, treated with a solution of potassium salt of rosin. Based on the research results, conclusions are drawn about the prospects for the use of the compounds for a number of pathogenic mycoplasmas, primarily for Acholeplasma laidlawii PG8a. The work was carried out at the Institute of Cytology Russian Academy of Science under the supervision of Vishnyakov I.E., leading researcher. The design and plan of experiments were jointly developed and carried out on Acholeplasma laidlawii PG8a cells culture provided by the cell bank of the Institute of Cytology Russian Academy of Science. The following databases were used in the literature review: Elsevier Science Di rect, Scopus, PubMed. The biological activity of the studied compounds was calculated using the PASS online service.
